Katie M | College Graduation 2021

We were contacted by Katie who own our voucher in a raffle. She chose to celebrate her accomplishment of graduating from Messiah College! In our time together, we shared memories of attending the same High School (Northeastern Senior High School in Manchester, Pa), and of staff who meant a lot to us. She’s working towards becoming a school counselor, and in the short time we talked, it is clear  she will do an excellent job in that career! 

Katie wanted a more downtown feel so York City was perfect!
Congratulations Katie on your accomplishments, and many more to come!

Hingework Styled Shoot | Lancaster Pa

I was so excited when my photographer friend, Katie MacDonald, invited me to also photograph a styled shoot she put together! The event took place in February 2021 at the Hingework in Lancaster Pa, and outdoor pictures were taken at a nearby park. Everything about the day was magical, and beautifully designed! Thank you so much Katie for this opportunity! I also got to meet 2 other photographers: Vanessa Martin and Caroline MacDonald! Their work so stunning!!

Courtney | Chiffon and Milk Bath Maternity Session

This session was a dream! I love when I’m contacted about doing not just one, but two looks!! Currently I don’t have a studio (but I’ll have one someday), but when it comes down to it…almost anything is possible with the use of a family room. The backdrop is 2 black sheets, and her red dress is only 6 yards of chiffon. Check it out on my TikTok!

The milk bath, ah major swoon on this set too! My car smelled amazing when I was on my way to Lancaster! She wanted a lace dress when I had in my Client closet. It was perfect! All of my wardrobe is cleaned after every use with a sensitive, fragrance free detergent. Anytime you have a milk bath session, you want to use REAL flowers so they float If you’re allergic to flowers there are so many alternatives like fruit, and cereal for some ideas.

Revolution Beauty Bar | Mayfield, Pa

Working with Shelley, the owner of Revolution Beauty Bar, and her ladies was a BLAST!!! I also never thought I’d be so obsessed with doing a shoot at a roller rink that we had all to ourselves! Shelley and I connected over Facebook about wanting to collaborate with photographers. It’s an amazing tribute on how social media can bring great new connections, and opportunities! Anyways, Shelley sent some inspiration for both shoots, and honestly we all rocked it! The tans, the hair, the girls…PERFECTION!

Miss “M” | 1st Birthday Cake Smash

My goodness sweet little Miss “M”! Her expressions are something else. She was definitely more “eh” while doing the family part of her session, but it progressed from the crunchy leaf to cake smash time! I think my favorite part was when she would bend forward, and let out a big grunt of excitement! 2020 changed her parent’s plans for her 1st birthday, but I’m so glad we were able to still celebrate this huge milestone! Also something else that’s really cool is that the image below was published in The Photograp.her Magazine for their Out With a BANG Issue #15, Family!

Courtnie | 30th Birthday Shoot

When you get an inquiry for a “Funeral for my youth” themed session, you say Yes! I got approval from a cemetery that was the most perfect background for Courtnie. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall day too. It was fun getting to do something different, and all for her 30th birthday. It’s far too often that people don’t get pictures taken of just themselves and their own milestones. Kudos to Courtnie for wanting to celebrate herself! Happy 30th Birthday!

Alexis | Maternity Session

Fall leaves + a matching gown with a vintage chair…Perfection! This session was so much fun, even though it was chilly and sort of rainy! However, we made it happen before it started to rain even more. It was a pleasure to meet, and create with Alexis!

This is one of my gowns from Chicaboo, and it’s available for maternity, and non-maternity sessions!
